Protest Erupts Over Alleged Illegal Chromite Transportation from Tor Ghar, National Highway Blocked
Khanozai: Members of the Khanozai Wolasi Committee staged a protest against the alleged illegal transportation of chromite from Tor Ghar, unloading mineral ore from trucks carrying the material.
During the demonstration, protesters blocked the Quetta–Islamabad National Highway, bringing traffic to a standstill in both directions and causing significant inconvenience for commuters and travelers.
The Wolasi Committee alleged that valuable mineral resources were being transported illegally from the area and vowed not to allow such activities to continue.
The protesters said their sit-in and highway blockade would remain in place until their demands are accepted, insisting that the alleged unlawful extraction and transportation of Tor Ghar’s mineral resources must be stopped.
