Gas Pipeline Explosion in Quetta Leaves Large Areas Without Gas, High Flames Spark Panic
Quetta (Daily Qudrat News) – A gas pipeline near Akhtarabad in Quetta was destroyed in an explosion by unknown individuals, causing a massive fire and cutting off gas supply to significant parts of the city. The towering flames were visible from a distance, spreading fear and panic among local residents.
As a result of the incident, gas supply to Western Bypass and adjoining areas was immediately suspended. Authorities are assessing the situation to restore service and estimate the damage.
Police and other law enforcement agencies arrived at the scene promptly, and gas company officials were called in to control the fire and begin repairs on the damaged pipeline. Security agencies have launched a formal investigation to determine whether the explosion was an act of sabotage or caused by other factors.
