Punjab Health Minister Suspends THQ Hospital Medical Superintendent Over Mismanagement

LAHORE: Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir visited the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital in Pasrur and suspended the hospital’s Medical Superintendent (MS) over alleged mismanagement.
During the visit, the provincial minister also directed the authorities to immediately release the pending salaries of sanitation workers, which had reportedly remained unpaid for the past three months.
Khawaja Imran Nazir expressed displeasure after finding air conditioners running in the absence of hospital officials and staff, calling it an example of poor administrative oversight.
He also ordered the immediate installation of an air-conditioning unit in the hospital’s drug storeroom to ensure the proper storage and preservation of medicines in accordance with required standards.
