Viral Video of My Meeting with Imran Khan Is Fake, Says Barrister Gohar

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan has denied the authenticity of a video circulating on social media that allegedly shows him meeting PTI founder Imran Khan.

Speaking to the media at Dahgal Checkpost on Adiala Road in Rawalpindi, Barrister Gohar said the plan to transfer Imran Khan to a hospital had been changed at the last moment.

He said that had the plan not been changed, “we would have gone quite far” in the process.

Barrister Gohar said their efforts to secure medical treatment for Imran Khan at Shifa International Hospital had been undermined. He added that it would have been much better if Imran Khan had received treatment at Shifa.

“I am not disappointed. I will make another attempt,” he said, adding that contacts and dialogue should not be abandoned.

Barrister Gohar said all discussions held so far had focused solely on the health of the PTI founder.

He categorically rejected the video circulating about his meeting with Imran Khan, saying, “The video of my meeting with the PTI founder that is circulating is fake.”
