Second Sit-in Begins in Quetta as Families of 17 Martyred Police Officers Demand Justice

Quetta:A second protest sit-in has begun in Quetta, where the families of **17 police officers martyred in the Ziarat incident** staged a demonstration alongside the coffins of the fallen personnel at the **Coal Phatak** area.

The new sit-in has disrupted traffic, with the road from **Sariab/Samungli Road** toward the city remaining closed, causing significant inconvenience for commuters.
Meanwhile, the families of those killed in the **Hanna Urak attack** continued their protest on **Airport Road** for the **fifth consecutive day**. The demonstrators are demanding justice and action against those responsible for the attack.

According to the protesters, the victims of the Hanna Urak incident have **not yet been laid to rest**, as their families continue to withhold the burials while pressing the authorities to meet their demands. The ongoing demonstrations have intensified pressure on the government to address the concerns of the victims’ families and improve the security situation in the province.
