Podcaster Rehan Tariq Detained by NCCIA at Lahore Airport

Pakistani podcaster Rehan Tariq was detained by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) upon his arrival at Allama Iqbal International Airport after returning from London.

According to a close relative, Rehan Tariq landed in Lahore shortly after 1:00 a.m. and was stopped during immigration procedures. NCCIA officials reportedly arrived at the airport and took him into custody.

An NCCIA spokesperson declined to comment on the matter.

Authorities said a case had already been registered against Rehan Tariq at the NCCIA office in Lahore. During airport screening, officials found that his name was also listed on the PNIL (Provisional National Identification List), following which he was formally arrested.
