PIA, Biman Airlines Sign Historic Cargo Agreement via Jeddah, Madinah, and Riyadh Routes

KARACHI – Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Bangladesh’s Biman Airlines have signed a historic cargo interline agreement, set to take effect from December 1, 2025.
According to a PIA spokesperson, the agreement will streamline air cargo movement between the two countries, using Saudi Arabia’s major cities—Jeddah, Madinah, and Riyadh—as transit gateways.
This partnership aims to create a strategic corridor for regional trade, reducing logistical challenges in transporting high-value goods such as textiles, pharmaceuticals, and agricultural products. Through the extensive networks of both national carriers, the agreement will provide cost-effective and efficient cargo solutions.
PIA emphasized its commitment to offering Pakistani exporters and importers the most effective cargo services in the region.
