Iran Vows Devastating Response After Alleged U.S. Strikes on Southern Military Targets

Iran has vowed to deliver what it described as a “devastating response” following alleged U.S. airstrikes on multiple locations in southern Iran.
According to Iranian reports, the United States carried out attacks on more than 80 targets, including Sirik, Bandar Abbas, and Qeshm Island, leaving several people injured.
The reported strikes allegedly targeted Iran’s air defense systems, surveillance infrastructure, anti-ship cruise missile sites, drone facilities, and vessels belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
In a statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it would not allow U.S. interference in the Strait of Hormuz and warned that the American attacks would receive a devastating response.
Iran’s Joint Armed Forces Command also condemned what it called open U.S. aggression against several areas in southern Iran, stating that the country’s armed forces would retaliate decisively.
The military command further declared that the United States would not be allowed to interfere in the management of the Strait of Hormuz, adding that Iran alone would determine the safe passage of commercial vessels and oil tankers through the strategic waterway.
