Two Children Killed, One Injured in Explosion in Quetta

Quetta: Two children were killed and another was injured after an explosive device detonated in the Sariab area of Quetta, police said.

According to the Superintendent of Police (SP) Sariab, the incident occurred in Killi Jadeed Mian Khan, located in the Kachhi Baig area, where children were reportedly playing in a vacant plot with an object resembling a toy bomb.

The device exploded suddenly, killing two children on the spot and injuring a third.

The bodies of the deceased and the injured child were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment and legal formalities.

Police have launched an investigation to determine the nature and origin of the explosive device and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
