Quetta: Babar Yousafzai said that a successful security forces’ clearance operation in Ziarat had dealt a significant blow to the network of militants.
In a statement, the adviser said that nine police officers and personnel were martyred while bravely fighting militants referred to by the government as “Fitna al-Khawarij.” He added that 15 militants were killed during the clearance operation.
Babar Yousafzai said operations against anti-state elements would continue until terrorism was completely eliminated from Balochistan. He praised the security forces, Balochistan Police, and other law enforcement agencies for demonstrating professionalism in thwarting the militants’ plans.
He emphasized that there was no place in Balochistan for terrorists or their facilitators, adding that the state was responding with full force on every front.

Paying tribute to the police officers and personnel who lost their lives in Ziarat, Yousafzai described their sacrifices as a valuable national asset and vowed that those responsible would be held accountable.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment, he said ensuring lasting peace, protecting the lives and property of citizens, and eliminating terrorism remained the provincial government’s top priorities.
