Nine Policemen Martyred in Terrorist Attack in Balochistan’s Ziarat District

At least nine police personnel, including two Station House Officers (SHOs), were martyred in a terrorist attack in the Kuch Mangi Phase III area of Ziarat district, Balochistan, according to local police.

SP Qadoos Dehwar said the fallen officers include SHO Mangi **Muhammad Hussain** and SHO Kwas **Sohbat Khan**. The bodies of the martyred policemen have been shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Ziarat.

Police officials said the attack specifically targeted law enforcement personnel. An exchange of fire between terrorists and police had been ongoing since the previous night before the deadly assault occurred.

Security forces are continuing operations in the area, while further investigations into the attack are underway.
