Political Leaders Condemn Killing of Waleed Saleh Baloch, Call for Unity to Protect Lives and Rights in Balochistan

Panjgur: A condolence reference was held at the residence of the late **Waleed Jan Saleh Baloch**, son of senior National Party leader **Haji Saleh Baloch**, marking his martyrdom. The event was organized by the **National Party** and **BSO Bachar**, with participation from central and provincial leaders of the National Party, leaders of other political parties, and prominent civil society representatives.

Speaking at the event, National Party leader **Mir Rahmat Saleh** emphasized that Waleed’s killing was a cowardly act, carried out at a moment of family celebration, turning joy into mourning. He condemned the ongoing targeting of political activists in Balochistan and urged unity among the people to protect the nation’s resources, lives, and rights.

Speakers stressed that Waleed’s assassination reflects opposition to those who love their homeland and advocate for justice. They vowed that the powerful perpetrators, no matter how influential, will be exposed. The reference also highlighted the dire situation in Balochistan, where routine violence, curfews, and restrictions on mobility have made life difficult for ordinary citizens.

Mir Rahmat Saleh stated that such acts of terror and intimidation will not deter the Baloch from demanding their rights or speaking against injustice. He reaffirmed that the sacrifice of Waleed Saleh Baloch and others like him strengthens the resolve for justice, unity, and peaceful political struggle in Balochistan.
