Four Booked in Alleged Gang Rape Case in Sargodha
Sargodha: Police have registered a case against four suspects over the alleged gang rape of a woman in Sargodha, following a complaint filed by the victim’s brother.
According to police, the First Information Report (FIR) names four individuals and includes charges related to kidnapping and gang rape under the relevant provisions of the law.
The victim has been shifted to a Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital for a medical examination, while investigators are collecting forensic and other evidence from the scene.
Police officials said raids are being conducted at multiple locations to arrest the accused, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Authorities stated that all aspects of the case will be thoroughly examined and that legal action will be taken in accordance with the law. The allegations are under investigation, and the suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
