Karachi Expected to Experience Rise in Temperature from Today, Says Weather Department

KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast a rise in temperatures in Karachi beginning today, with hot and humid weather expected to persist over the next several days.
According to the Met Office, the city’s weather is likely to remain partly cloudy and humid over the next three days. Light drizzle may also occur in some areas during the early morning or late-night hours.
The department said the maximum temperature is expected to range between 35°C and 37°C, while the minimum temperature is likely to remain between 28°C and 30°C during this period.
The PMD added that southwesterly sea breezes will continue to blow across the city, contributing to humid weather conditions.
Meanwhile, most parts of Sindh are expected to experience hot and dry weather. However, isolated areas of Umerkot and Tharparkar may receive thunderstorms and rain, according to the weather forecast.
Residents have been advised to take necessary precautions against the heat, stay hydrated, and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during peak daytime hours.
