Four Killed, One Injured in Separate Shooting Incidents in Balochistan

Quetta:At least four people were killed and one girl was seriously injured in two separate shooting incidents reported in different parts of Balochistan, according to local authorities and media reports.

In the first incident, an exchange of gunfire reportedly took place between two groups near **Darinjan** in the **Sui** area of **Dera Bugti** district. Initial reports said the dispute stemmed from a financial disagreement between relatives belonging to the **Kohli branch of the Pirozani tribe**. Authorities said four people lost their lives in the violence, including a father and son from one side and two brothers from the other. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.

In a separate incident reported earlier in the day in **Badwan**, **Qila Abdullah** district, five victims were shifted to the **Trauma Centre Mezi Adda** following a shooting. According to preliminary reports, four people were pronounced dead on arrival, while a young girl sustained critical injuries.

The deceased were identified as **Ubaidullah**, son of Fazal Muhammad; **Zia ur Rehman**, son of Abdul Bashir; **Aimal**, son of Rahim; and **Muhammad Shahid**, son of Rahim, all residents of **Killi Badwan**.

The injured girl, identified as **Bibi Saniya**, daughter of Naseer Ahmed and a resident of **Killi Rooh Shah Jan, Masezai**, received emergency medical treatment at the trauma centre before being referred to **Quetta** for specialized care.

Following the completion of legal formalities and post-mortem examinations, the bodies of the deceased were handed over to their families in the presence of police. Investigations into both incidents are underway to determine the circumstances and motives behind the shootings.
