PESCO Ends Friday Weekly Holiday, Issues Official Notification

Peshawar: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has officially abolished its weekly Friday holiday, announcing that all offices will now remain open on Fridays in accordance with regular working hours.

An official notification has been issued confirming the decision.

According to the notification, all PESCO offices, formations, and subordinate offices will operate normally on Fridays, with employees required to attend duty and carry out official responsibilities as on any other working day.

PESCO management stated that the decision to designate Friday as a regular working day has taken immediate effect.

The company has also directed all senior officers to ensure strict compliance with the new instructions, emphasizing that uninterrupted office operations will help address public complaints and provide better services to consumers in a timely manner.
