Eyewitness Alleges Driver Deliberately Drove Bus into Ravine After Argument with Passenger in Zhob Crash

Zhob: An eyewitness injured in the deadly passenger bus crash in Balochistan’s Zhob region has alleged that the driver intentionally drove the vehicle into a ravine following an argument with a passenger.
The crash claimed the lives of around 40 people, including women and children, while several others sustained injuries, according to rescue officials.
Speaking to the media, the eyewitness claimed that the driver became involved in a heated verbal dispute with a passenger during the journey. According to the witness, the driver complained that the passenger had caused a waste of diesel, and the argument escalated.
The eyewitness alleged that the driver then deliberately steered the bus off the road and into the ravine. The witness said there were approximately 45 passengers on board at the time of the incident.
Rescue authorities confirmed that women and children were among those killed, while the injured were transported to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.
According to the Deputy Commissioner of Sherani, emergency response teams reached the scene shortly after the accident and launched rescue operations to evacuate victims. Authorities are continuing the process of identifying the deceased and injured, while an investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
