One Child Killed, Four Critically Injured as House Wall Collapses During Heavy Rain in Khuzdar

Khuzdar: A child was killed and four others were critically injured after a house wall collapsed during torrential rainfall in the Nawa area on the outskirts of Khuzdar.

According to local sources, the wall of a house belonging to a family from the Mohammadzai tribe suddenly gave way following heavy rain, trapping five children from the same family beneath the rubble.

Residents rushed to the scene and rescued the children before shifting them to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.

Family sources said one of the injured children later succumbed to injuries, while the remaining four are reported to be in critical condition.

All injured children have been transferred to the Civil Hospital, where they are receiving medical treatment. Authorities are continuing to monitor the situation as the region remains affected by severe weather conditions.
