National Party Leaders Condemn Targeted Killings of Workers, Alleging Govt-Militant Collusion

Quetta: Mir Rehmat Saleh Baloch, senior leader of the National Party and Deputy Parliamentary Leader in the Balochistan Assembly, strongly condemned the recent targeted attacks on party workers, supporters, and their families across various districts of Balochistan. He described the incidents as a deliberate and dangerous conspiracy to weaken democratic politics and silence the parliamentary voice.

Mir Rehmat Saleh Baloch stated that the National Party has been targeted due to its bold stance on the rights of the Baloch nation, paying a heavy price for its principled position. He alleged that while the government obstructs electoral processes, armed groups are spreading fear and terror in the province.

He revealed that in the past week alone, five National Party workers were brutally killed, including Faisal Baloch, son of senior leader Master Haasil Khan from Gishkore, and young leader Sanwar Baloch from Jhao. Earlier, in October, his own brother was also martyred.

Mir Rehmat Saleh emphasized that no ideological force can be suppressed through power, bullets, or violence. He vowed that the party will honor the blood of its martyrs by intensifying its struggle and urged for immediate, impartial, and transparent investigations to expose the masterminds and hold the perpetrators accountable, ensuring the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
