Provincial Minister Caught Napping During Balochistan Assembly Session as Colleagues Record Video

Quetta (Daily Qudrat) – A light moment unfolded during a session of the Balochistan Assembly when Provincial Minister for Revenue Mir Asim Kurd Gello was seen dozing off while seated in the house.

The session, chaired by Speaker Abdul Khaliq Achakzai on Monday, was underway when Mir Asim Kurd Gello appeared to fall asleep in his seat. Nearby provincial ministers, including Mir Sadiq Umrani and Abdul Rehman Khetran, were reportedly seen recording a video of the incident.

Noticing the situation, Speaker Achakzai addressed the minister, saying, “Minister for Revenue, please pay attention. Cameras are installed in the assembly; members should not relax.”

Following the Speaker’s warning and desk-thumping by other members, the provincial minister woke up, bringing the brief episode to an end.
