Former AJK Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Joins Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party

Islamabad: Former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, has officially joined the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), along with several key political figures.

Sardar Tanveer Ilyas announced his decision after meeting IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan, expressing confidence in his leadership and formally joining the party alongside his associates.

Among those who also joined the IPP are AJK Minister for Agriculture Chaudhry Ali Shan Soni, former AJK Health Minister Ansar Abbasi, and former Adviser to the AJK Prime Minister Sardar Iftikhar Rashid.

Welcoming the new members, Abdul Aleem Khan said their inclusion would strengthen the party and its political outreach. The newly inducted leaders reaffirmed their trust in his leadership and pledged to work for the party’s future objectives.

In a separate development, Taqdees Gilani, a female lawmaker from the Pakistan Peoples Party in Azad Kashmir, also announced her decision to join the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party after meeting Abdul Aleem Khan. She was presented with the party flag as part of the induction ceremony.
