Pakistan Says Four Drones Launched from Afghan Territory Intercepted Over Balochistan

Quetta:Pakistan has claimed that four drones launched from across the Afghan border were successfully intercepted and neutralized over Balochistan by the country’s air defense system.

According to the statement, Pakistani authorities alleged that the drones were launched from areas under the control of the Afghan Taliban and described the incident as evidence of support for militant groups operating against Pakistan.

The statement said Pakistan’s air defense network detected the aerial platforms immediately after they crossed the border. Security forces, using advanced counter-drone measures, reportedly neutralized all four drones before they could achieve their intended objectives.

Pakistani officials asserted that the swift response demonstrated the operational readiness of the country’s armed forces and prevented any potential damage.

The statement also criticized the Afghan Taliban government, accusing it of attempting to divert attention from domestic challenges through actions that threaten regional stability. It urged the Taliban to refrain from supporting militant organizations and instead adhere to the principles of peaceful coexistence.

Pakistan warned that any future cross-border provocations or actions threatening its sovereignty would receive a “swift, decisive, and overwhelming” response under **Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq**.

The statement concluded by reaffirming that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully prepared to defend every inch of the country’s territory against any external aggression or cross-border threats.
