Trump Says Iran Agrees to Stay Away from Nuclear Weapons, Qatar Talks May Be Significant

Washington:** U.S. President **Donald Trump** said talks between the United States and Iran expected to take place in Qatar later this week could prove significant, although he cautioned that the outcome remains uncertain.
Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump said, “The meeting with Iran in Qatar this week may be important, or it may not.”
The U.S. president also claimed that Iran has agreed not to pursue nuclear weapons, describing it as a positive development amid ongoing diplomatic efforts.
