Pakistan Cuts Kerosene Price by Rs6.85 Per Litre, Petrol and Diesel Rates Unchanged

Islamabad: The government has announced a reduction of Rs6.85 per litre in the price of kerosene, providing relief to consumers.
According to an official notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the new price of kerosene has been fixed at Rs227.05 per litre, down from the previous rate of Rs233.90 per litre.
The reduction comes as part of the government’s latest review of petroleum product prices. Consumers using kerosene for domestic and commercial purposes are expected to benefit from the revised rate.
Meanwhile, the Petroleum Division has decided to keep the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel unchanged. Under the latest notification, the price of petrol remains at Rs299.50 per litre, while high-speed diesel (HSD) continues at Rs311.47 per litre.
The revised kerosene price and the unchanged petrol and diesel rates came into effect from today following the issuance of the official notification.
