Petition Filed in IHC for Recovery of Social Media Activist Sanam Javed’s Sister
Islamabad:A petition has been filed in the **Islamabad High Court (IHC)** seeking the recovery of **Falak Javed**, sister of social media activist **Sanam Javed**, who was reportedly taken into custody on Monday.
According to *Dunya News*, the petition was filed by **Javed Iqbal**, father of Falak Javed, through his counsel **Advocate Mian Ali Ashfaq**. The plea requests the court to order authorities to **produce Falak Javed before the court** and provide details of the cases registered against her.
The petitioner further urged the court to hold the hearing **today (Tuesday)**, citing urgency.
Reports suggested that Falak Javed was detained in Islamabad, though the nature of the charges against her remains unclear. Allegedly, before being taken away, she had informed her husband that she was about to be arrested. At the time, she was with some PTI leaders in Islamabad and was scheduled to leave for the **Peshawar rally** the same day when police conducted the raid.
