Foreign-Based Elements Misused Dr. Mahrang Baloch for Anti-State Agenda, Says Balochistan Adviser

Quetta: Provincial Adviser for Sports and Youth Affairs Mina Majeed Baloch has alleged that Dr. Mahrang Baloch, a leader of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), has been used by foreign-based “anti-state elements” for their alleged objectives.

In a statement posted on social media platform X, the adviser said that certain individuals were inciting youth through speeches and promoting actions such as lawlessness, damage to public property, and use of “anti-state rhetoric.”

She further claimed that BYC gatherings were aimed at spreading hatred and alleged that during the so-called “Gawadar Raji Machi” incident, a police official was killed, for which she said there could be no legal justification.

The adviser also alleged that during a train hijacking incident, militants’ bodies were taken from a hospital through an attempted forceful act, and that government institutions including colleges and universities were targeted and set on fire.

She stated that anyone involved in such activities should be held accountable under the law, adding that men and women are equal before the law and punishment applies equally to all.

Criticizing what she called attempts to portray individuals as victims through a “woman card narrative,” Mina Majeed Baloch urged youth in Balochistan to stay away from such groups and avoid becoming “tools of hostile agendas.”

She called on young people to focus on education, development, and national service instead of violence and extremism, emphasizing the need for unity, peace, and stability in Balochistan and across Pakistan.
