Lady Polio Worker Kidnapped by Armed Men in Dera Murad Jamali; Family Stage Protest Outside Police Station
Dera Murad Jamali (News Desk): A lady polio worker was reportedly abducted by unidentified armed men from Dera Murad Jamali, prompting her family to lodge an FIR at the City Police Station, officials said.
According to police, unidentified armed assailants kidnapped the female polio worker, identified as Asia Bibi Turk, from the jurisdiction of the City Police Station in Dera Murad Jamali and took her to an undisclosed location.
Following the incident, the family of the abducted worker registered a kidnapping case at the police station and staged a protest and sit-in outside the station, demanding her immediate safe recovery.
The protesters called on authorities to take urgent action for the recovery of the missing lady polio worker and ensure her safe return. Police have stated that efforts are underway to trace the abductors and recover the victim.
