Man Killed in Firing in Sui; 7 Police Personnel Suspended Over Negligence

Dera Bugti (News Desk): A man lost his life in a firing incident by unidentified armed men in the Sui area of Dera Bugti near AC Grand, while the attackers managed to escape, according to police sources.
Officials said that unidentified assailants opened fire suddenly in the area, leaving a man critically injured. He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, however he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
The deceased was identified as Alam Khan Bugti. Sources further stated that he was the father of Rustom Kalpar Bugti, a close associate of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti.
Following the incident, law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area and collected evidence from the scene. However, no FIR or arrest has been officially reported so far.
Meanwhile, authorities have taken disciplinary action against police personnel over negligence in duty in connection with recent law and order incidents in Dera Bugti and Sui.
According to SSP Dera Bugti Zia-ul-Haq Mandokhail, seven police officials were dismissed from service over alleged negligence and poor performance during duty. The dismissed personnel include three head constables and four constables.
The terminated officials have been identified as Constable Khushhal, Constable Shah Faisal, Head Constable Dost Muhammad, Constable Muhammad Yaseen, Constable Niaz Muhammad, Constable Nawaz Sharif, and Head Constable Sher Ali.
Police officials stated that the action was taken under departmental rules after their negligence and irresponsible conduct was proven. They added that strict action will continue against any personnel found guilty of dereliction of duty in the future, emphasizing that the protection of life and property will not be compromised.
