Belgium Thrash Pakistan 7-1 in FIH Pro League Clash

Belgium handed Pakistan a heavy 7-1 defeat in the FIH Pro League at the Belfius Hockey Arena in Belgium, extending Pakistan’s losing streak in the tournament to nine matches.

The hosts started aggressively and took the lead in the third minute when Nelson Onana scored a brilliant field goal to make it 1-0. Belgium maintained that advantage through the first quarter, while neither side managed to score in the second quarter, leaving the hosts with a one-goal lead at halftime.

Pakistan made a strong start to the third quarter as Rana Waheed found the net to level the score at 1-1. However, Belgium responded emphatically, scoring six unanswered goals to take complete control of the match.

Tobias Beken was among the standout performers for Belgium, contributing two goals in the dominant victory.

The defeat marked Pakistan’s ninth consecutive loss in the FIH Pro League. Pakistan will now look to bounce back when they face Spain in their next match on Sunday.
