Pakistan Beat Bangladesh by Six Wickets to Reach Asian Games 2026 Cricket Final

Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by six wickets in the first semi-final of the Asian Games 2026 cricket event to qualify for the final.
The match was played in Nishin, Japan, where Pakistan captain Sahibzada Farhan won the toss and elected to field first.
Due to a wet outfield, the match was reduced to 13 overs per side. Bangladesh scored 111 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted 13 overs, with Towhid Hridoy top-scoring with 42 runs.
Pakistan’s Sufiyan Muqeem took three wickets, while Arafat Minhas claimed two wickets.
Chasing a target of 112 runs, Pakistan completed the chase by defeating Bangladesh by six wickets. Hasan Nawaz remained unbeaten on 27 runs, while Abdul Samad finished not out on 30.
Pakistan’s victory secured their place in the Asian Games 2026 cricket final, which is scheduled to be played on October 3.
