21 Militants Including Four Key Ring Leaders Killed in Security Operations in North Waziristan: ISPR
Security forces conducted multiple intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing 21 militants, including four key ring leaders, in North Waziristan and adjoining areas, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The operations were carried out in Miranshah and surrounding sensitive regions following confirmed intelligence about the presence of militants. The ISPR said those killed were involved in various acts of terrorism and were actively running a network responsible for unrest in the area.
Among the dead were four high-value commanders identified as Khalid Raza alias Salar, Muftoon, Musa, and Imran alias Ayan, who were described as the backbone of the militant network operating in the region.
According to the military’s media wing, the total number of militants killed in ongoing operations in the area has now risen to 48. Large quantities of weapons and ammunition were also recovered during the operations.
The ISPR added that clearance and sanitization operations are continuing in the region to eliminate any remaining threats and ensure long-term security stability.
