Woman Arrested for Throwing Acid on Husband in Rawalpindi’s Gujar Khan Area

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) – A woman allegedly threw acid on her husband in the Gujar Khan area of Rawalpindi after a domestic dispute, police said on Thursday.

According to police officials, the victim had arrived at a Union Council office in connection with divorce proceedings. As he left the UC office, the woman reportedly attacked him with acid.

The injured man was immediately shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for medical treatment.

Police confirmed that the woman has been arrested from the scene. A case has also been registered on the complaint of the victim, while further investigation into the incident is underway.
