Speaker National Assembly, Balochistan Chief Minister Hold Key Meeting on National and Provincial Affairs

Islamabad: Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, met with Mir Sarfraz Bugti in Islamabad to discuss a range of national and provincial issues, as well as matters of mutual interest.
The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail and Mir Saleem Khan Khosa.
During the discussion, participants reviewed efforts to strengthen coordination between the federal government and Balochistan, assessed the progress of ongoing development projects, and discussed initiatives aimed at improving public welfare. They emphasized that strong cooperation between the federation and provinces is essential for achieving development goals and addressing public concerns effectively.
The meeting also focused on strengthening democratic institutions, promoting parliamentary traditions, enhancing intergovernmental cooperation, and reinforcing national unity. Participants agreed that harmony and collaboration among state institutions are vital for the country’s development and stability.
Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti briefed the participants on the challenges facing Balochistan, the province’s development priorities, and key public issues. The discussion underscored the importance of joint efforts to find sustainable solutions to longstanding provincial challenges and improve public services.
Speaker Ayaz Sadiq praised the Balochistan government’s efforts to promote development, maintain law and order, and serve the public. He stated that the prosperity and progress of Balochistan are closely linked to the overall development of Pakistan and assured full federal support for the province’s advancement.
The meeting concluded in a cordial atmosphere, with participants reaffirming their commitment to working together in the national interest, strengthening democratic stability, and promoting public welfare.
