Nationalist and Religious Parties Doing Politics on Dead Bodies, I Was Stopped from Attending Condolence Meeting: Noor Muhammad Dummar

Harnai (Qudrat Daily) – Provincial Minister for Food and central leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Haji Noor Muhammad Khan Dummar, has said that nationalist and religious parties have always engaged in politics over tragedies to maintain their political relevance, but in the current era of social media, the public has become aware and has rejected such dual standards.

Addressing a large gathering of party workers, office bearers, and tribal elders at Dummar House Harnai, he strongly condemned the incidents in Mangi and Shahrag and expressed deep sympathy with the bereaved families. He said that terrorism is not only an issue of PB-7 Ziarat-cum-Harnai but a long-standing national problem affecting the entire country, particularly Balochistan, and claimed that such cowardly acts are being carried out by India to weaken Pakistan.

The provincial minister revealed that he was initially invited by a committee to attend the funeral prayers (Fateha) of the martyrs of the Shahrag incident, but when he reached Mangi, he was allegedly stopped from participating in the condolence and Fateha gathering by certain nationalist and religious party representatives, calling it a planned conspiracy. He said he has messages and evidence to support his claim.

He added that terrorists have no religion or ethnicity and are enemies of humanity, while so-called political parties are allegedly supporting elements that are creating unrest in society.

Haji Noor Muhammad Khan Dummar urged party workers to maintain unity and reaffirmed his commitment to stand with the people of Harnai and continue working for the development of the constituency.

The event was attended by Haji Baz Muhammad Dummar, Haji Raz Muhammad Dummar, Malik Asrar-ul-Haq Abdulani, Press Club President Muhammad Arif Tareen, and other local elders.

At the conclusion of the visit, the minister offered Fateha for martyr Ikramullah Shah and the late Syed Khan Tareen, uncle of the Deputy Director Agriculture, before departing for Quetta.
