Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that U.S. President Donald Trump will always be remembered as a “man of peace” for his role in promoting stability and dialogue.
Addressing a ceremony at the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad, the prime minister expressed gratitude for President Trump’s efforts toward maintaining peace in South Asia. He said bilateral relations span more than eight decades and recalled that the United States was among the first countries to recognize Pakistan after its independence.
The prime minister paid tribute to the longstanding partnership between the two countries, saying Pakistan and the United States have worked together during several important periods of history.
