Relief Items Distributed Among Fire Victims in Sohbatpur, District Administration Responds Swiftly

Sohbatpur (News Desk) — Following a tragic fire incident in Goth Mehboob Ali Khosa on May 29, 2026, the district administration of Sohbatpur immediately launched relief and rescue operations to assist the affected families.

The incident caused significant damage to several households, leaving multiple families affected. Upon receiving the report, Deputy Commissioner Sohbatpur, Farida Tareen, directed all relevant departments to take emergency measures without delay.

In compliance with these instructions, Assistant Commissioner Sohbatpur Saifuddin Khosa promptly mobilized the fire brigade to the site. Through coordinated efforts of the fire brigade and district administration, the fire was brought under control in time, preventing further loss of life and property.

After the incident, the district administration conducted a detailed assessment of the affected area and initiated relief activities based on the immediate needs of the victims. Essential relief items including tents, kitchen sets, gas cylinders, bedding, tarpaulins, and blankets were distributed among the affected families.

Deputy Commissioner Farida Tareen stated that the district administration is fully committed to providing immediate relief to the affected families and ensuring timely and effective assistance.

She further added that efforts are also underway for the rehabilitation of the victims so they can return to normal life as soon as possible.
