OGRA Slashes Prices of Light Diesel and Kerosene in Pakistan, Issues Official Notification

Islamabad: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has reduced the prices of light diesel and kerosene oil, issuing an official notification in this regard.

According to details, the price of light diesel has been cut by Rs30.61 per litre, bringing the new price down to Rs244.93 per litre. Kerosene oil has also become cheaper by Rs41.44 per litre, with its new price set at Rs272 per litre.

However, sources said that the petroleum levy on diesel has been increased by Rs10.93 per litre, raising it to Rs68.93 per litre. In contrast, the levy on kerosene oil has been kept unchanged at Rs20.36 per litre.

The adjustment in prices reflects ongoing changes in petroleum pricing components, including fluctuations in levies and regulatory charges.
