Pakistan–China Partnership Key to Prosperity and Development: Governor Balochistan

QUETTA (Qudrat News) – Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has said that the Pakistan–China partnership is not only an economic cooperation but also a strong bridge of prosperity between the two countries.
During his visit to MCC Tongsin Resources Limited in Beijing, he said that the company is playing an important role in the mining sector, particularly in copper and gold resources. He also described the Saindak Copper-Gold Project as a successful example of Pakistan–China cooperation.
The Governor said that the Saindak project is contributing significantly to national revenue and is promoting employment, infrastructure development, and local investment, thereby supporting the overall development of Balochistan. He added that this partnership is further strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.
He stated that Pakistan’s economic future is closely linked with Balochistan, while cooperation under the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is expanding further. He highlighted that Balochistan has vast mineral resources, strategic importance, and strong potential in the blue economy.
Jaffar Khan Mandokhail said that the provincial government is committed to providing a secure and investor-friendly environment to encourage more Chinese investment in mineral development, processing, and infrastructure sectors.
He added that this cooperation will create new employment opportunities for youth, strengthen infrastructure, and help transform Balochistan into a major hub of trade and industry in the region.
On the occasion, he thanked the leadership of MCC Tongsin Resources Ltd, the federal government, and all stakeholders, saying that Pakistan and China together will build a future based on development, prosperity, and innovation.
