Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti Chairs High-Level K-Electric Meeting, Reviews Power Supply and Distribution in the Province

Quetta: A high-level meeting of K-Electric was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti to review the detailed status of electricity transmission and distribution in the province. The Chief Executive Officer of K-Electric, Syed Yousuf Shah, briefed the meeting about the challenges faced by the Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) and proposed solutions.
The Chief Minister directed the improvement of the complaint system for timely resolution of public grievances and emphasized ensuring uninterrupted power supply across Balochistan. He urged for immediate corrective measures to fix flaws in the transmission system.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti stressed the need for effective and comprehensive planning to improve electricity supply in remote areas. He instructed K-Electric to prioritize public relief and avoid unnecessary power outages and load shedding during the summer season.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister ordered the timely completion of electrical development projects in Dera Bugti, Barkhan, and other remote parts of the province to enhance public facilities.
