Terror Attack on Coal-Laden Trucks in Harnai Strongly Condemned

Islamabad / Quetta: Provincial Minister for Food and senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Haji Noor Muhammad Khan Dummar has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on coal-laden trucks and the burning of vehicles in the Zeerat Mangi area of the Quetta–Harnai National Highway.

He said that following the incident, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation, while strict action is being taken against those involved.

The minister stated that terrorists involved in damaging economic and trade activities in Harnai and across Balochistan will be brought to justice.

He added that the government is utilizing all available resources to ensure the protection of life and property of truck drivers and transporters, so that the uninterrupted transportation of coal from Harnai can continue.

According to Haji Noor Muhammad Khan Dummar, five coal-laden trucks were set on fire by armed attackers in the Zeerat Mangi area, and there are also reports of the kidnapping of three individuals, including the SHO Mangi.

He said that the Chief Minister of Balochistan and senior security officials were immediately contacted after the incident, and the situation is being closely monitored.

The provincial minister noted that coal mine owners and transporters have suffered losses worth millions of rupees, and the government will take all possible steps to compensate the affected parties.

He reaffirmed that operations against terrorists and miscreants will continue with full force and that those responsible will be tracked down and brought to justice.
