Major Step by Balochistan Police for Employee Welfare: Agreements Reached for Significant Discounts on Children’s School Fees and Medical Tests

Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta) – Balochistan Police has signed two important agreements for the welfare of its personnel and their families, under which significant facilities and financial concessions will be provided in the education and health sectors. In this regard, separate Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) were signed with the Balochistan Private Schools Association and Corporate Health Services (CHS).

Under the agreement reached with the Balochistan Private Schools Association Alliance, children of serving and deceased employees will be given a 30 percent discount on tuition fees, while tuition fees for the children of police martyrs will be completely waived. In addition, special additional concessions will also be provided on admission fees, examination fees, and other institutional expenses.

On this occasion, DIG Headquarters Tahir Alauddin said that the purpose of this partnership is to provide access to quality education for the children of police personnel and to better fulfill the educational needs of police families. He said that this step is not only a practical manifestation of recognition of police personnel’s services but also an important step toward the welfare of their families.

On the other hand, under the agreement between Balochistan Police and Corporate Health Services (CHS), police personnel and their families will be given up to 40 percent discount on concessional rates for quality medical facilities, radiology, and other diagnostic tests, while up to 10 percent discount will be available on hospital bills in hospitals included in the CHS panel.

DIG Headquarters Tahir Alauddin said on this occasion that these agreements with the Private Schools Association and Corporate Health Services will prove to be an important milestone for the welfare of Balochistan Police personnel. He said that the Police Department is continuously taking steps to provide better facilities to its personnel and improve their quality of life.

Under the agreement, digital health cards will also be issued for police personnel, their parents, and families, through which easy access to various medical facilities will be possible. In addition, with the cooperation of SSP Traffic Quetta, they will also be provided drug screening and testing facilities at designated CHS centers.

The medical facilities package also includes special concessions on concessional OPD and consultant services, medical camps, vaccination and preventive vaccinations, first aid training, emergency medical aid, and pharmacy services.

The purpose of this step is to reduce the burden of treatment expenses on police personnel and their families and to provide them with timely, quality, and accessible medical facilities. Personnel of the police force have described these steps in the education and health sectors as an important relief for Balochistan Police and their families, which will play a positive role in their social and economic welfare.
