Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq will continue with full force and determination, says PM Shehbaz

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the anti-terror operation “Ghazab-ul-Haq” will continue with full force and determination, adding that Pakistan is playing its role as a “net regional stabilizer” for peace, stability, and development in the region and across the world.

The prime minister made these remarks during his visit to the Command and Staff College in Quetta, where he addressed faculty members and officers undergoing training.

He said Pakistan is prepared to pay any price to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity, stressing that the ongoing operation against terrorism would continue with unwavering resolve.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the professionalism, operational preparedness, and sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces for national security.

Referring to what he termed “Maarka-e-Haq,” the prime minister lauded Pakistan’s historic success under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir. He said that despite India’s alleged unprovoked and aggressive actions, Pakistan demonstrated restraint, responsibility, and wisdom, which, he added, was acknowledged by the international community.

The prime minister further stated that Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq is being carried out with full determination against terrorist proxies operating within Afghan Taliban circles, aiming to protect innocent lives and eliminate terrorist hideouts and support networks.

He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine, while appreciating the presence of officers from friendly countries at the institution.

Highlighting the importance of military diplomacy and defense cooperation, Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan continues to serve as a “net regional stabilizer” promoting peace, stability, and progress in the region and beyond.

Earlier, upon his arrival at the Command and Staff College Quetta, the prime minister was received by Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir. Federal ministers for defence, interior, information, and the chief minister of Balochistan were also present on the occasion.
