Five Suspects Arrested in High-Profile Quetta Triple Murder Case

DERA MURAD JAMALI: Police have made a major breakthrough in the high-profile triple murder case involving Mir Haroon Mengal and two others, who were killed in Quetta two months ago.
According to police sources, a joint grand operation was conducted by Quetta and Nasirabad police following a tip-off in the Balan Shakh area within the jurisdiction of Sadar Police Station. During the late-night raid in Goth Mohammad Rahim Mengal, five key suspects allegedly involved in the killings were arrested.
Among those detained were Mir Akhtar Mengal and Mir Sikandar Mengal, the two sons of Mir Ashraf Mengal. Police also recovered a large cache of weapons and ammunition from the suspects’ possession, including automatic firearms, hundreds of bullets, and other prohibited materials.
Officials said all arrested suspects have been shifted to Quetta under tight security, where further investigation into the murder case and illegal weapons recovery is underway.
