DIG Quetta Visits Mastung, Promises Improved Police Services and Essential Equipment

**Mastung (Daily Qudrat):** Following the recent transfer of operational command of Mastung district to the DIG Quetta Range by the IG of Balochistan due to security concerns, DIG Operations Quetta, Imran Shaukat, conducted an urgent visit to the district. Upon arrival, he was greeted by a well-disciplined police contingent.

During the visit, a detailed briefing on the overall law and order situation was provided. Present at the briefing were DPO Allah Bakhsh Baloch, FC Wing Commander Colonel Humayun, DSP City Rafiq Hamza Mengal, and the SHOs of all Mastung police stations, who updated the DIG on the security status in their respective areas.

After the briefing, DIG Imran Shaukat held a gathering with police personnel, where officers shared their concerns. He assured them that their issues would be addressed promptly, stating, “I am certainly your commander, but I am also your brother. I will make every effort to improve your quality of service and ensure the provision of essential equipment.”

He emphasized that enhancing the professional capacity of the police force and restoring law and order remain top priorities. The DIG’s visit is being hailed as a significant step toward maintaining peace and stability in the region.
