Terrorism in Turbat Has Once Again Bloodied Humanity, Says Meena Majeed Baloch

Quetta: Provincial Adviser for Sports and Youth Affairs Meena Majeed Baloch strongly condemned the killing of Lady Constable Shakeela Baloch in Turbat, stating that terrorism had once again wounded humanity.

In a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter), Meena Majeed Baloch said that unarmed police constable Shakeela Baloch was martyred in what she described as a brutal firing incident carried out by operatives of “Fitna al-Hindustan.” She added that the constable’s husband and children were also injured in the attack.

She said that targeting women inside their homes was an attack on Baloch traditions, Islamic values, and humanity itself. “No religion, law, or tradition permits such cowardly acts of terrorism,” she stated.

The provincial adviser urged civil society to break its silence and raise its voice against terrorism and those responsible for such violent acts.

Meena Majeed Baloch further expressed solidarity with the bereaved family of Shakeela Baloch and said the government stood with them in their grief.

“As a representative of the government, I make it clear that the state will hold accountable those responsible for the blood of its martyrs, and those who seek to disrupt peace in Balochistan will not be forgiven,” she added.
