Pakistani Pilgrims Continue Arriving in Saudi Arabia; Medical Staff Strength Increased

Islamabad (Khabar Agency) – The arrival of Pakistani Hajj pilgrims in Saudi Arabia continues as part of the ongoing pilgrimage arrangements, with thousands more reaching the holy land over the past 24 hours.
According to official sources, an additional 4,077 pilgrims arrived in Saudi Arabia during the last 24 hours under both government and private Hajj schemes. With the latest arrivals, the total number of Pakistani pilgrims has reached 56,272.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs stated that around 80 percent of the pilgrims are currently staying in Makkah, while 20 percent are in Madinah.
To facilitate pilgrims, the number of Khuddam-ul-Hujjaj and support staff has been increased to ensure better assistance and guidance. The total number of assisting personnel has risen from 438 to 467.
In addition, 1,259 facilitators and support staff have been deployed to assist pilgrims with accommodation, travel, and religious guidance.
Authorities have also increased the number of buses in Makkah in proportion to the growing number of pilgrims. At present, 230 buses are being operated to ensure smooth transportation and reduce congestion.
The spokesperson further added that a comprehensive transport plan has been fully activated to facilitate access to Masjid al-Haram, ensuring smooth movement and convenience for pilgrims performing religious rituals.
