Governor Mandokhail Says Pakistan’s Victory Reflects National Unity and Military Strength

QUETTA: Jaffar Khan Mandokhail said Pakistan’s recent “Battle of Truth” victory reflects the country’s national unity, resilience, and the unwavering spirit of the armed forces.
Addressing participants at a celebration event held in Quetta, the governor said the nation had gathered to celebrate a historic triumph that would further strengthen national solidarity and confidence in the armed forces.
“We are not only celebrating a victorious battle but also the limitless potential of a united, determined, and progressive Pakistan,” he said.
Mandokhail stated that Pakistan had faced a much larger rival in terms of military strength, weapons, and manpower, but the country’s armed forces prevailed through courage, strategy, and determination.
The event was attended by Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan, Mir Younis Zehri, Captain (R) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, provincial ministers, lawmakers, and senior civil and military officials.
According to organizers, the ceremony was attended by guests from more than 50 countries, including a large number of women participants.
The governor said Pakistan remained determined despite what he described as hostile propaganda and conspiracies aimed at weakening national unity through proxy elements.
He expressed confidence that Pakistan’s law enforcement agencies and armed forces would successfully overcome internal and external challenges.
Mandokhail credited the success to Syed Asim Munir, saying his leadership had brought pride to the nation.
He also stressed the importance of promoting patriotism among youth, adding that the courage and sacrifices of the armed forces should inspire future generations.
Referring to regional economic prospects, the governor said Pakistan could emerge as a major hub for trade and economic activity in the region following the completion of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.
Earlier, Governor Mandokhail, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, and Commander 12 Corps visited stalls set up by the Pakistan Army and received briefings on military equipment displayed during the event.
