India Rules Out Bilateral Sports Tours With Pakistan

Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (India) has announced that Indian teams will not travel to Pakistan for any bilateral sporting events, effectively maintaining the long-standing restriction on direct sports exchanges between the two countries.
According to the ministry, Pakistani athletes and teams will still be allowed to participate in multinational tournaments held in India. However, bilateral series between the two countries will remain suspended.
The statement clarified that neither Indian teams will visit Pakistan nor Pakistani teams will be permitted to play in India for bilateral competitions.
The development comes amid continued sporting isolation in bilateral cricket ties between the two neighbours. India national cricket team and Pakistan national cricket team have not played a full bilateral series since 2012, and now meet only at neutral venues during international tournaments.
