Pakistan Considers Saudi Arabia a “Red Line,” Says Ishaq Dar

Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan considers Saudi Arabia a “no-go area” and warned that no hostile action against the Kingdom would be tolerated.

Speaking at the International Paigham-e-Islam Conference in Islamabad, Ishaq Dar said Pakistan played an active diplomatic role during recent regional tensions involving Iran and Israel.

He stated that while Israel was carrying out attacks on Iran, Tehran was responding with strikes that affected Muslim countries, although Iran maintained that US military bases were its intended targets. Dar said Pakistan worked to help ease the situation and also conveyed to Iran that Pakistanis are ready to sacrifice their lives for the security of Saudi Arabia.

The foreign minister emphasized that the defense agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is a major milestone and reaffirmed Islamabad’s commitment to protecting the interests of the Muslim world. He added that Pakistan wants strong relations with all Muslim countries, including Saudi Arabia.

Dar further claimed that Pakistan played a significant role in achieving a ceasefire during the crisis and is now working toward a permanent truce between the United States and Iran.

Referring to “Marka-e-Haq,” Ishaq Dar said that God granted success to Pakistan and asserted that no one can look at the country with hostile intentions.
