Fire Erupts in Under-Construction Building Near Al Habtoor Grand in Dubai Marina
Dubai: A fire broke out in an under-construction building near Al Habtoor Grand in Dubai Marina on Wednesday morning, sending thick smoke across the surrounding area.
According to Gulf media reports, Dubai Civil Defense received an alert at 7:06 AM on May 6, 2026. Emergency teams from Al Marsa Fire Station were immediately dispatched and arrived at the scene within seven minutes, at approximately 7:13 AM.

Authorities stated that the fire was of moderate intensity and occurred داخل the under-construction structure. By 8:51 AM, field commanders confirmed that the blaze had been brought under control, and cooling operations were underway.
No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident. Officials added that once the cooling process is completed, the site will be handed over to the relevant authorities as per standard procedure.
